How do I enable chat-support for my app?

Smootily is integrated with the chat platform Tawk.to with the goal of allowing your users to interact with you and solve any doubt, and as a result, increasing conversions.

The process for integrating this chat feature on your app is very simple and you can do this by following the following steps:

  • 1) Sign up at Tawk.to.
  • 2) Continue with the onboarding process on Tawk. (In the field named "Web Site", enter any valid URL, this field does not have an use for these purposes). Ignore the part where it says "Install Widget", just press continue.
  • 3) Once you finished this process and already are on the admin dashboard, press the icon on the bottom left corner that says "Administration".
  • 4) When you are on the "Administration" section, copy the field that says "Property ID", and enter it in the field "Tawk Chat ID" in the section Settings.
  • 5) You are set! You can enter the app again, and the chat feature will be available on the navigation menu.
